Your Mission If You Choose To Accept!!!

The day started cold and cloudy and it soon turned into cold and wet but that was not going to stop this family.

We were on a mission and we were not about to fail no matter what.... This mission was to celebrate the oldest of the family's birthday...

By 10 am everybody was on the road heading for the great old Miramichi... 5 from Bathurst and 1 from Legaceville... armed with cake, sandwiches and of course the most important thing next to cameras... presents for the birthday girl...

Within 15 minutes of Carl and my arrival all was there with lots of hugs, kisses and birthday wishes... the only problem was there was one missing... the Man of the house was out on his own mission... on his return to the house he was also armed with a cooler of those green things that turn red when hot...

Warning... there are many pieces of evidence of the success of this mission because of these two camera nuts...

Camera Nut A: Patsy aka CNA

Camera Nut B: Joanne aka CNB
( notice I did put the Older of them first LOL)
You be the judge on how much of a success this mission was...

Yvette and Mom admiring Flowers
sent by Lisette and Paden...

Patsy saying hello to Mom

Some more hellos...

Roger, Yvette and Mom

The manly hug of brother-in-laws

Mom and Patsy having a private moment but not for long...
CNB was spying on them...

Not really sure what was going on here... but I am sure Mom was wondering where everybody was...we seem to disappear quite quickly...

Patsy and Yvette listening intensely to Roger

Joanne and Mom...

Ohhhh she is just a sweetie pie.... Don't you think?????

Oldest sister... Older sister....

Actually let someone use my camera to take
the Youngest sister... Oldest sister and Older sister photo

Mom and the birthday girl

Sit on my knee
No I am not sitting on your knee
Sit on my knee I don't like it when you Tower over me LOL...
Carl and Hubert

CNB's cutie.... love this photo CNA thanks for taking it...

What can I say they are smiling.... love it

Hugging the Birthday girl...
nice to be home for the family's birthdays

Notice the little touch on the shoulder.... hmmmm

Then the creeping closer... and the look in dad's eyes...

Getting even closer.... going in for the big one...

ohhh the cuddle... ohhh memories of these days when she was younger...
I love my daddy...

And the big finish... the kiss on the cheek....
and I am sure there was an I love you there
Way to go Pat....

Hubert getting those green things that turn red when hot ready for everyone... the man is a saint... I would have made them crack their own LOL... and then came Carl's lobster....

Big, dark and full... ohhhh baby let me at that one...

Dad's first taste of the year... and I am going to say now... the man enjoyed every moment of it with permission from his doctor to do it...

Yvette helping dad get really ready for the feast...

Totally amazed .... in my mind I thought ok he got his big one of the year... don't have to go looking for one for Father's day ...LOL....

Does that look like a man that is enjoying his gift...and it is not even his birthday ...LOL....

Yvette and Hubert enjoying as well....

Actually we all enjoyed.... the food and company...

(To Flo) Yvette thought since you were not around she would share a piece of tail with her younger brother.... and that is all I am going to say about that...

The lobster has been eaten... the table has been cleared... and now a little sing song...

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you dear Yvette, Happy Birthday to you and many morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrree..

Blowing of the candles.... didn't put all the candles on the cake... there was one fire around there already this month ... don't need another one LOL....

All smiles.....

Of course CNB had to get at least one with Yvette making a face of some kind or another... what would the day be without at least one or is there two... hmmm not sure... he he

Ivy and roses from her Older sister...

Mom waiting her turn to give their gift to her...

ohhhh I love gift cards... I can go buy things for my garden... ohhhh yes....

I just love this photo of the birthday girl....

Garden Fairy from Carl and I....

Another manly hug from Roger to Hubert... I am getting this feeling that Roger is getting lonesome of his little woman...

Some Special Deliveries on Yvette's Day

Well there is all the evidence...
What do you think???

I know this is for my sister's birthday but the message I wanted to give her is for Patsy as well....
I started to write all these thank yous to Yvette and realized that it should be for both of them... and turned it into....

So....
I am very happy being the youngest sister of this family...
because there is no way I would come close
of being the older and oldest sister you are to me...
Thank you so very much for being my sisters...
What would my life be without you two being there...
Love Joanne....
