The Weekend Was Perfect For

The weekend was a perfect weekend for outdoors and working in the garden and getting some things cleaned up and fixed... Carl and Matthew were sweethearts and re did my green house.. the wind is not going through it any more... actually this morning when I was working at getting all my tacky decorations back on it the temperature was up to 25C already....

Nanny's rose bush has been moved with hopes that things will go a little better for it this year... teddy bears have been replaced on the bike but ended up using the old ones again... I glued one's butt to a rock and it is sitting on a rock chair in the back bed...... I also added another bike to the marigold bed that I got the last time we went through Rogersville.... my little swinging turtles needed some new rope to swing by.... and after all that was done I actually got to clean up two of the many beds this weekend... I also moved my baby's breath because the area was getting crowded...

Carl got the summer time hangers of the bird feeders out... so I also spent a little while getting all the colorful feeders up and the others that we put on the trees for peanuts for the Mr. Nuttys and Blue Jays... actually yesterday while I was working around I was informed by a few of them that the feeders were not filled yet what was going on... I guess that will be another little job for me to do this morning before heading into town....

Carl also plotted out an area for a veggie garden this year... not sure what is going in it but there will be a small one out there.... I know spring beans will be the first thing on the list when we decide what is going in there.... nothing like a pot of beans for a meal...

I do have photos of all of this but nothing is in the computer at the moment... actually I am writing this on Carl's this morning.... I know if I go up to mine I will never get out this morning and that is what I have today... the morning because this afternoon I have appointments and things to do... I think that is the hardest thing about this time of the year having to leave the yard to get other things done... maybe I should hire someone to do those things so I can just stay here and play in my flower beds....LOL
