Only Four More Days...

Saturday morning and the sky is still gray but the heavy rain fall slowed down to a drizzle which continued through out the day... I have been cold all day from the dampness but then I did get myself wet this afternoon while I was putting up two more bird stands which were in the wooded area throughout the summer... I finally found some seeds that I have been looking for, for a week now...
It is usually to the market in the morning but I thought it would be better to actually go out and get some groceries other then cereal and eggs being in the house... maybe some salads and fruit... I thought I would come home after a quick visit to mom and dad's this afternoon and work on some of the stuff I have started and have not finished... like the Christmas Cards that are almost all addressed but not signed or sealed and maybe since I went and got stamps yesterday maybe I should put them on the envelopes before I misplace them and have to go out to re buy them.... I have done that before... those cards that I usually put a note in have not yet been done as well and only 1/2 of the calendars have been printed... and are not ready for mailing yet... thought back in September when I started all of this it would be done but they aren't... slow or what...

I know I am suppose to wait for the 12Th to start my decorating but I blame it on Carl but then he only did what I asked him to do and thought I would stay away from the 22 containers that he piled on my TV floor... but I couldn't I had to get into them and see what I had for this year... and for the last week I have been working on my framed photos that I wrap and make them look like gifts hanging on the walls... Actually I think I have 4 more frames left to wrap and 10 to decorate... it is a long process but it gives me something to do while I am watching a movie and it stops me from putting up the rest of the decorations....

While I was watching TV the other night there was an ad on it for Super Value and they were talking Christmas and they had new dishes and I went looking today thinking if I liked them I may actually get them... time for a change... actually time to go out and bought some new dishes it has been a while and I have been mentioning that to Carl off and on recently ... Well Carl you don't have to worry they were not there... well not yet any way... but there was some other interesting stuff... you think with all I have here I wouldn't be out looking for new things for Christmas but what would Christmas be without changing things... every so often ... ok ok every year... I know one thing if I decided or find a set of dishes I like there is no way I am making the promise I did several years ago... but I have to say it did cure me of wanting a new set every few months LOL... and I am not sure I am going to follow the rule that was made at the house.. .NOT by ME that is for sure... if I buy something I have to give the old ones away... ya right I am going to get rid of a set of Christmas dishes... hmmmmm now where did I get those containers again... I may need another one this year... LOL... just joking...
