Lack of

Yesterday morning I got with thoughts of taking a run down to the Bulk Barn and a little visit to see Yvette even though she was here this week... just to spend some time alone with her but that all changed when I went looking for a clean pair pants and none to be found... it brought me back to about 10 years ago when I wouldn't go to the laundry mat until I didn't have anything left in the closet....so instead of going out and spending money I stayed home and did laundry... actually 4 loads... I need to check myself through out the week to make sure this will not happen again...

So the greater part of the day was spent at home.... doing laundry and a little cleaning around the house... working on the second part of my project and knitting...of course I did need to go out for a bit... I finally finished up season one of NCIS and since I didn't remember watch the last show of the season picked up season two.... ohhh yes my life is that boring but the more I watch of it the more knitting I do....so it works out very nicely for me...

I had dropped in to my favorite store on Friday and picked up several packages of Christmas napkins for mom so I also dropped in on them to drop them off...they had a surprise visitor yesterday what was staying for a few days.... actually it was Flo, her sister was up visiting for the weekend so she gave her time alone with her dad and came home to visit... it was nice to see her...

You can tell that the season of shopping is starting and it means the season for people to be extra cranky as well... you just have to take a trip up to Walmart to see it... and yesterday was no exception... actually I was surprise to notice a few of the carts filled with gifts heading to the check outs and the check outs not supplying the demand of the customers... which is getting them through the cash and out as fast as they could... it starts once again... you think they would get a clue, I mean the manager, and add a few extra cashiers....

Actually from what I have heard is that there is a lack of all around town... when I went into the Dollar Store on Friday they were saying that there was so much back log of merchandise that the employees that are there are working 7 and more days straight without a day off...Roger also mentioned that they were short on staff as well... it seems that stores are just not getting people in to work any more...not because they are not looking but there are no people that are applying for work.... so if this continues I see that there will be a mad house around this town in another month when everyone is out there looking to get those special things for the season.... I feel sorry for the workers because it is not the manager standing behind the cashes getting all the complains...

It is early here but in truth it is the usual time I get up in the morning but we set back the clocks last night... and the body is not taking that extra hour today....so I got up to finish up printing the calendars for the family only to get 1/2 way through and the printer announced that it was out of ink... I see I will be out in the mad world looking for ink today....
