The Sun is Shining and Fall is in the Air....

The sky is sunny and very clouds in the sky, the air is cool, the trees are painted with their fall colors.... and it is great to be outside with the little nip almost enough if you are out there long enough that when you come in you are looking for a Hot Chocolate with big Marshmallows to warm you up... but not quite yet...but it is coming


This morning I decided that it was time ... to get off my backside and stop reading and laying around and actually do something for a change... so on went my old black gym pants since I am not using them for the gym any more... a T-shirt... and one of Carl's old Orange County sweat shirts so I could have him with me while I am out and the old but faithful sneakers and off I went to start with the solar lights... I said it when I was putting them up I am going to say it now... I have way too many... and I am sure if I look out tonight there will be a few I have forgotten... I packed them away but not too far I am thinking of something for around Christmas time and I will need them... ohh yes Christmas thoughts are in the air... but then most of the year there is thoughts of the Next Christmas even though I don't say anything ...

I was only out in the yard a few minutes when a truck with two guys came in looking to paint and seal my garage roof... they could have been someone looking for work but I am here alone like I would do something like that... I had no idea where they came from or where they were going but they were not stopping and working here....


I went into the hot house to move somethings around... ok ok I was cleaning it up so I could actually have room for everything ... and I discovered way too much water in things and looked up to find a long rip in the roof of it... now I am trying to figure out how to fix it so I can store the rest of my Stuff in it... I think I need a ladder and some strapping... but think since Carl is away I am going to see Ed next door and see if I am going to be doing this right.... ohhh have I ever mentioned I hate ladders... this is going to be something new for me...

The butterflies are off the hothouse well only one is left I couldn't get it I need the little ladder but that will be for tomorrow... the bird feeder area in the woods is all taken down... and the nice bright feeders we had out for the summer are packed away for the winter... and the ugly green ones that are more serviceable for the winter are up... I did get a few of the lawn decorations put away as well... in the spring I will clean them up it is way too cold to be cleaning them now...

There is more to do and I know there is nice weather for most of the week so I will be hitting the yard more tomorrow and the rest of the week.... I know there are several planets that need to be divided but I am looking for places to put them but so far no luck... and I know that I will not be making any more beds for a while I think we have enough for the time being... but I do have a few ideas...

Well time for food... I think I actually worked up a hunger here... which will be the first in a very long time...
