Same Old Same Old With A Different Twist

The tree is not totally decorated as of yet...but the house is clean... I had a snow day yesterday and took the time to get things back into order around here... the craft stuff has been put away.. but noticed this morning the glue gun has to come out something fell apart... for some reason... things have been picked up and I have also got the floors done, dusting, laundry and most of all spent some time with my puppies... which hopefully will make up for the time I was gone again today....I have to say yesterday was a very productive snow day yesterday.... maybe I should have a few others like that...

Welcome home Tommy... he is home for a visit.. and because of the weather... Flo was the one behind the camera when he showed up.... but I got to get him out of bed this morning... and once again I forgot my camera...and thanks to Flo once again I got photos to show.... by the way Thanks Flo...

And then Mom, Dad and Pat treated him to a wonderful lunch... just don't think you are getting that every day... brat...

Of course I had to look over the situation and....

decided that he didn't deserve it... but

but they stopped me.... like usual...

I also got the photos from mom and Pat's outing this week they will be posted tomorrow and some wonderful pictures of the ice trees... thanks to Flo again...

Besides that if any body has been around me... they know the only news that is important to me at the moment... Carl is coming home tomorrow night... I say with a big Butt Smile on my face... so since I don't buy all that much in the food department except for day to day I went out and got a few things.... including a special dinner for tomorrow night...

So if you don't hear from me for a while...which would be hard still since I am still with no or hardly any voice.. was talking to my next door neighbor she had it last year and it took her two months to get over it.... lucky me... smack... you know I will be busy spending time with my honey.... and I am sure Carl will make the comment sometime in the future how quiet it is around the house... if this continues... double smack

Ohhh yes.... I hope all is going good with the moving into the new house Danie, JB and Connor.. if is official they are staying for a while any way....

Christmas Time is Coming

Yesterday morning two ladies from the CWL (just in case someone doesn't know what that is it is the Catholic Women's League) came to visit... and presented mom with this beautiful homemade shawl...

I still have not received the pictures of Mom and Patsy as they headed out for Dinner last night but when I do I will post...

Today was a little work at mom's getting the rest of the things that I started this week up for Christmas... I left Flo with a tree... he he... I was suppose to go out shopping with Patsy but the white stuff stopped me... maybe another time...

I got wonderful news this evening... you know that Cat that has been away for the last two months... well it seems that this mouse doesn't have all that much time to play any more ... because he is coming home this weekend the mouse says with a smile...

Good Afternoon... the only thing I can say about this weather that it is bloody cold and no one should be outside... even the puppies don't want to be out there very long... they do their business and want in....
I did go out even though I thought I wouldn't ... but I did a duh thing last week when I made a list of things to pick up while I was out and left it on the table like I usually do... I knew I needed ink for the printer but didn't get it... well this morning I was trying to print out some family tree sheets because I didn't make enough and up came the sign... duh Jo you forgot the ink.... lol not really just told me it was running low....
So I thought okay I am going out with the broom clean the jeep off and head to town.. the roads shouldn't be all that bad... well the jeep was not going to be cleaned with a broom... since it did rain sometime during the night... and the roads... well I guess the city is cutting down on salt because there was none to be seen on our roads down this way... so I drove very carefully... picked up the ink. another movie and a Christmas gift... not from me but mom and dad and yes I am doing theirs as well again this year... that is not a complaint that was a comment if any one was wondering...
Of course if I am in town you know I am going to stop at mom and dad's.... I did get some Christmas decorations up ... this afternoon... the tree will be started tomorrow when Roger and Dad get it up and the branches all nicely fixed so we can decorate on Wednesday.... but I finished off things I started last week and didn't get around to finish them.... so I was happy when I headed home...
Mom is going out this evening to the CWL Christmas Dinner... with Pat... so Flo was busy this afternoon making her all so beautiful... Flo promised photos ... so when she gives them to me I will post them on here...
Two of the CWL members came up this morning and presented mom with this beautiful hand made shawl... of course I knew they were coming and do you think I thought of my camera to take with me... ya right... taking it tomorrow so I will have some photos of that as well... for tomorrow's blog...
Now I am off to watch a movie and finally finish up the greenery for outside... and if it is a little warmer tomorrow morning I will take the time to put it out... if not it will have to wait...
Someone ... not saying who... is thinking that they may be around this weekend... crossing fingers.... hoping that it will be true... but I am not saying a word... they may keep him for a bit... again...
Also Tommy is coming in on Wednesday for a visit... looking forward to seeing him...
